About

Revitalizing an iconic Toronto landmark, The Ryerson Athletics Centre at the Gardens will create a legacy for a new generation of Ryerson students and the local community and a new exciting home for the Ryerson Rams. Nearly 220,000 sq ft (20,400 m2) on the building's upper floors will supplement the university's existing athletic facilities. The new centre's street-level retail complex will include a flagship grocery store owned by project partner Loblaw Companies Limited, as well as two Loblaw retail tenants.

  • Total Space: 222,970 sq ft (20,714 m2)
  • NHL sized ice rink, seating for 2,796
  • Multi-purpose court, 1,000+ seats
  • Fitness centre, studios and high-performance gym
  • Ryerson Rams athletics store
  • CafĂ©/Juice Bar
  • Facilities will be made accessible to the community
  • RETAIL:
  • Loblaws food store (70,000 sq ft / 6,500 m2) at street level
  • Two Loblaw tenants on the second floor
  • Underground parking for Loblaw customers
